Forums rarely pass much link authority (most links are NoFollow), but a genuine, non-spammy presence in a community your customers actually use can be worth more than the link itself. Participate first, link second.
Forum Backlinks
Relevant communities where a profile or signature link is allowed — useful for visibility more than raw authority.
| Website | Link | Access | DA / DR | How to Get It |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quora Profile & Answers | NoFollow | Free |
DA 89 DR 86 Moz / Ahrefs (illustrative) · Sample data |
Answer questions relevant to your niche in real depth, and link to your site only where it directly supports the answer. |
| Reddit Profile & Community Posts | NoFollow | Free |
DA 91 DR 92 Moz / Ahrefs (illustrative) · Sample data |
Participate genuinely in relevant subreddits first. Add your site to your profile, and only link directly in a post or comment when it's actually useful to that thread — self-promotional links get removed fast. |
Rows marked as sample data are placeholders for demonstrating the directory — verify DoFollow status and DA/DR figures with a live tool before treating them as current.
